Overview The player has three different inventories, and a skills list that can be opened via the buttons in the top right, or with 1-4. The first is the main inventory. This is where items go when purchased, dropped by monsters, gained from quests, etc. The second is your wielded inventory. These are the items you’re currently using such as weapons, staves, or totems. The third is your workbench. This is where you put items to use with the various skills in the game for crafting. The fourth is your skills list. This shows you all of the skills you have learned, and their levels. you can also use your skills from here. Most things in the world can be interacted with in various ways by clicking and holding on them to open a context menu. Monsters can be attacked, merchants can be traded with, etc. *PAGEEND* Inventory The main inventory will hold most of the items you have on you. This is also where you can see how much gold you have. The inventory shows 9 items at a time, and you can scroll in the inventory by clicking the swords on the lefthand edge. There is no limit to how many items you can hold. At times, you may find that your inventory is quite cluttered and it can be tedious to find a specific item. When this happens, you can make use of the inventory filters accessed via the Filter button to the right of your gold in the main inventory. This will open a side panel where you can toggle item categories on/off. If you can’t find an item in your inventory that you’re sure you should have, make sure to check your filters! To interact with items in your inventory, click and hold on them. This will open up a context menu that allows you to interact with the item in a variety of ways. All items will have the Include and Use options. The Include option will move that item to your workbench. The Use option will wield the item. Some items will have other options available, such as Earthkeys having an Activate option or bombs having a Place option. *PAGEEND* Wield The wield inventory holds the items that you have wielded. Items are moved here from the inventory by selecting the Use option in the context menu. Anything can be moved here, however only wieldable items will have any effect. You can scroll in the inventory by clicking the swords on the lefthand edge. If you have multiple weapons wielded, the game will do its best to determine which is the best and use that for combat and will be displayed on your character. To unwield an item, click and hold on it to open the context menu, and select Stop Using. *PAGEEND* Workbench The workbench is where you place items for crafting, whether it be Swordsmithing, Geomancy, or Weapon Dismantle. Items are moved to the workbench by using the Include option in the context menu from the main inventory. You can scroll in the inventory by clicking the swords on the lefthand edge. Anything can be moved to the workbench, but not every item is useful in crafting/skilling. It’s easy to accidentally Include an item when trying to perform a different action such as wielding, so if you can’t find an item that you’re looking for, check your workbench. *PAGEEND* Skills List The skills list will display all of your learned skills, their level, and their experience. The order of the skills is the order in which you learned them. You can scroll in the inventory by clicking the swords on the lefthand edge. New skills are learned from the trainers in towns (Green NPC). Some skills are useable, and can be used from the skills window. Click and hold on the skill to bring up the context menu, and select Combine. This will attempt to use the skill, usually by interacting with items in your workbench. Geomancy, Swordsmithing, and Expertises are some of the skills that can be used. Other skills are passive, and cannot be directly used. These level passively from other activities. For example, Weapon Mastery skills gain experience from using their corresponding weapon, and increase your damage done with those weapons. Dodging gains experience from being attacked by monsters within a certain level range from you. *PAGEEND* Chat The chat window located in the bottom left will display messages from other players as well as important game related messages. The chat window can be expanded by clicking and dragging on the top edge. There are three global channels that can be swapped between using the General, Trading, and Help buttons at the top of the chat window. Most people stay in General, which is enabled by default. *PAGEEND* Options The options button in the bottom right will open the options menu, where you can change various settings. Some of the notable settings are Hits Displayed, Misses Displayed, and Items Taken. Having these enabled can quickly flood your chat window and make it hard to interact with other players. The Reset Flags button will reset various flags, and can be useful if you’re experiencing unexpected behaviorand can’t resolve it in another way. An example of this is if the inventory filter options seem to be out of sync with what’s actually being displayed. *PAGEEND*
